Copy of Transformation Survey of indoor leisure

Closed 20 Dec 2019

Opened 18 Nov 2019

Overview

As you may be aware, at a meeting of full Council in February 2019, Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council unanimously agreed to transform leisure services in-house.

Part of this tranformation process includes consultation with our staff members who will be effected by this change.

To help staff through this transformation we have:

  • Held staff engagement sesssions (to happen each month).
  • Organised a survey for staff to complete in June 2019 (these surveys will continue quaterly).
  • We have created a website to hold all information regarding transformation:  https://www.armaghbanbridgecraigavon.gov.uk/leisureupdates/
  • Created an internal magazine 'Leisure Matters' to inform staff of progress on the building and the transformation process.

This engagement is to help the Leisure Services Team transform from within and will continue until the transformation process has finished.

This survey is done on an anonymous basis – we do not ask for names or other identifying information. If you do provide any personal data to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council, it will be processed securely and in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

Why your views matter

We are consulting with our indoor leisure staff to help us gauge:

  • How much you you know about the new leisure centre
  • We understand your views on its impact on you and your job
  • We understand your view on how this new centre will impact on  your customers.

We will be consulting with you through the lifespan of this build to ensure that we capture your views to help you through transformation journey.
