Lurgan Park Regeneration Project
Overview
Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon Borough Council are doing research to help guide a funding application for the revitalisation of Lurgan Park.
We would like to ask you about your thoughts on community relations in Lurgan and what your opinions are on the type of activities and events that should be available at the new site.
Why your views matter
An opportunity has arisen under the Regional PEACE IV Shared Space and Services Programme to bid for a portion of £34.5 million to create 5 iconic projects which have both local and regional significance and contribute directly to the Peace Building Need.
Lurgan Park is the largest public park in Northern Ireland, and second only to Phoenix Park in Ireland, it provides an opportunity to build, strengthen and sustain inter-community relationships using the participative regeneration of the Park and its assets to connect and improve the health and wellbeing, and quality of life opportunities of the town, its people and those who visit.
