PEACEPLUS and Good Relations Audit Survey
Overview
Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council will develop and deliver a co-designed Local Community Action Plan under Investment Area 1.1 of the new PEACEPLUS Programme. The Action Plan will be submitted in November 2023. The programme delivery will run to the end of 2027.
The Action Plan will be centered around three core themes:
- Local community regeneration and transformation
- Thriving and peaceful communities
- Building respect for all cultural identities.
ABC Council is also conducting an audit of Good Relations within the Council area to establish strategic priorities/themes that reflect identified needs.
Why your views matter
PEACEPLUS: We are seeking views from residents of the borough on local needs and priorities to help inform the development of an Action Plan (2024-2027) with appropriate programmes and projects.
GOOD RELATIONS: The aim of this survey is to identify the issues and challenges which have a detrimental impact on the quality of life of our residents - issues such as low educational attainment, poor health and wellbeing, lack of skills, and employability etc. This information will help us to identify and detail high-level themes and programmes for action over the three-year period 2023 to 2026.
What happens next
This survey is part of a wider consultation process. We are also engaging with communities through a series of public workshops. The information acquired from the workshops and this survey will be collated and analysed to inform the development of the PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan (which will be submitted for assessment in November 2023) and the Good Relations Audit.
