Dromore Public Realm Scheme
Overview
As part of the ongoing commitment to urban regeneration, Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council will be delivering the next stage of the Dromore Public Realm Scheme, providing high quality improvements within the Town Centre Conservation Area which includes outer Market Square, Bridge Street and Church Street.
The Dromore Public Realm Scheme aims to enhance the streetscape and offer quality design, utilising natural materials with bespoke details to reflect the town’s unique history and conservation area designation. The scheme aims to introduce new pavement treatments, lighting, enhanced shared space, street furniture, signage and decorative features designed to complement the previous works at Dromore Town Hall in the central area of Market Square.
This questionnaire is your opportunity to comment on the concept design proposals, refer to the concept designs under related documents. Your views will play an important part in the preparation of the final design for the area.
The Dromore Town Centre Public Realm Scheme has been subjected to an Equality Screening exercise, refer to the Equality Screening Policy Document under related documents, a Rural Needs Impact Assessment was also completed, refer to the rural needs impact assessment under related documents.
The outcome of this screening exercise indicates no adverse impacts on Equality of Opportunity or Good Relations under the Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998. On this basis, the decision is that the policy should not be subject to a full equality impact assessment.

Any Information gathered during the consultation period will be used to help produce the final design.
